It often happens that the oil filter cannot be unscrewed manually during an oil change. Of course, you can use improvised means, for example, pierce the filter housing with a screwdriver and turn it. But it is much more convenient to use a special puller for oil filters, with which you do not risk getting dirty in oil. The chain wrench-style puller is suitable for any engine with an oil filter up to 12 cm in diameter.
