A simple, but incredibly useful tool - marking stops for the angle iron. The first and most important use is for marking stair treads. When you attach these stops to a carpenter's square, you have the perfect template for marking. Once you set the dimensions once, you can mark all the steps exactly the same. The second application is working with repeated angles. Fasten the stops on the angle and you have a ready-made template. You just put it on and mark it out, quickly and accurately. You can also use them as a guide for the saw. Attach them to the board and you can make smooth longitudinal cuts without any difficulties.
