The WEICON LWL precision puller is an excellent tool for stripping optical fibers and fiber optic cables. It allows for quick and easy removal of primary coatings from thin wires and strands with small diameters in the range of 0.12 mm - 0.8 mm. The funnel-shaped hole on the tool head ensures precise feeding of thin fiberglass, and sturdy, precisely positioned pivot springs ensure comfortable operation. The 0.16 mm bore blade is optimized for removing coatings from 200 to 250 µm thick. Pliers are conveniently adjustable from 0.2″ to 1.77″ for precise, non-slip operation. The tool is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide and the blades are made of high-quality knife steel.
