The Milescraft 1342 Euro Hinge Jig is a real boon for installing concealed hinges. Firstly, this jig has two adjusting screws that help to position the hinge cup hole precisely from the edge of the door. A special pin sets the distance from the top or bottom. This fixture has a metal drill guide that locks into the conductor. It ensures that the hinge cup hole is perfectly flat. The housing has inbuilt guide sleeves to pre-drill guide holes in the four most common locations. This ensures that the hinges are evenly positioned and the door closes properly. Included is a 1/16" diameter drill bit for these very guide holes. The left and right sides of the fixture have special depth stops for the included 35mm drill bit. The removable marking guide, which detaches from the bottom of the fixture, allows you to transfer and mark the center lines and hinge location on the cabinet wall or frame.
