Auto-dimming rearview mirror. It consists of a mirror, two photocells and electronics. A sharp stream of light hitting the photocell at night activates the electronics, which darkens the mirror. Automatic dimming reduces the amount of light streams that irritate the driver's vision, thus making driving safer.
